DAITO provides the exclusive course to became a Instructor Physical Defensibility for the Security- and Law Enforcement Professional. This course is exclusive because it is the only course in the world with the Dutch Kurodaiya ® Martial Arts elements. Kurodaiya ® is developed in the Netherlands by grandmaster Gopal and contains Japanese influences. The philosophy behind the Kurodaiya style is to use minimum of strength, power and movement to achieve maximum results. This can only happen by using the right muscles for the right movement. In this way one can control or execute a technique according to the need at that moment. Within this system one can learn in a very short time to protect/defend oneself against any kind of attack in any kind of situation, like in standing position, sitting or lying down on the floor. This is one of the reasons why this style is very good to be practiced by all forces into the Security and Law Enforcement field, including Close Protection Officers which has to deal with violence during their jobs. Therefore Daito adopted this great system in all of their training programs.

Program of the Course
The course will take place at the Kurodaiya Dojo, Lylantse Baan 9, ZIP Code 2908 LG, Capelle aan den IJssel (Rotterdam Area, the Netherlands) and contains topics as agression regulation, self defens, arresting techniques, voice- and body control/volume, stance and positions, dual action, liberation techniques etc. Please contact us by info@daito.nl for the exact date of the following course.
Registration and cancellation
The number of participants will be limited to 20. Registration will be in order of application. The required amount of participants to start a programme with will be 15. For application please ask for a registration form (info@daito.nl).
Study material
Daito composes a syllabus of the necessary material (study and self-evaluation guide). Budo clothing is issued on the first day of the course.
Hotel Reservations
To take the course for international members as well by the other meetings it could be necessary to stay in a hotel. When needed Daito will arrange the reservation(s).
Costs
On request. The course 'Instructor Physical Defensibility for Security & Law Enforcement' can be provided abroad and in various languages. Ask for the conditions.
Examination and conditions
The examination will take place at the Kurodaiya Dojo at Capelle aan den IJssel, Rotterdam area, the Netherlands (the exact date will be established by Daito). Registration for the examination will be also through Daito. The fee charged by DAITO for this examination is on request.
If you would like to participate in this course you need to show a VOG document from the Justice Department and for the examination you have to fulfill the requirements in education and experience as stated below:
■ 5 years of experience in the field of security or law enforcement, of which at least 3 years in a responsible position or;
■ 5 years experience of which at least 3 years in a responsible position;
■ 3 years experience in any martial art
Certification & Registration
If you pass the examination you will receive an Certificate. The validity of this certificate is two years. Each two years there is a possibility to renew the certificate. Prolongation wil take place only if you can prove that you have been active as a Instructor Physical Defensibility in the field of Security- or Law Enforcement. You can prove this for example if:
■ You have been active as member of an association in the field of Security- or Law Enforcement
■ You have published in specialized literature or
■ You are active as a Instructor in the field of security- or law enforcement
■ You have a RDG degree by the foundation of the Registered Educator Risk Management from the SRDG foundation, Geldrop, the Netherlands.
The names of the passed DAITO Instructor Security & Law Enforcement will be listed on the register, which then is public on the websites www.daito.nl and www.kurodaiya.org. |
