Therefor we work on four special services concerning this subject. The factual security will be formed and provided by Griffin & Miller S.A. with local security guards under the supervison of Dutch teamleaders. Furthermore we investigate the posibility of a central dispatch center for the use by major security threats. The security department of the multi-functional complex 'Ahoy Rotterdam' chooses for DAITO's special training programs in self defense, crowd management and arresting techniques. Ahoy Rotterdam is a member of the European Arenas Association. This Association was formed in the early 1990's to create a common platform for a number of leading venues in Europe and develop a new circuit for specialized events. Ahoy Rotterdam is visiting by more than a million visitors each year and a range of national and international celebrities.
■ English High Court rejects total loss claim for hijacked chemtanker
CAPTURE by pirates does not render a vessel a total loss, either actual or constructive, a recent ruling by the English High Court has established. The decision has major implications for maritime insurance, according to an analysis produced by shipping law firm Clyde & Co.

SHIPS passing through the Strait of Malacca need to tighten up security following reports that terrorists may be considering an attack on a tanker, a circular from the Singapore Shipping Association has warned. ■ Out of Area Training Uruzgan great succes!
The two day training 'Out of Area Afghanistan', organized by our associated partners of "The Group NLD" became a great success. Training was given to scientists who work soon in the hostile area Uruzgan, a province of Afghanistan. The training consisted of extensive and diverse components (Culture, ISAF, Terrorism, Population, Area Survey, etc.) and focuses on staying in such area for participants to prepare for their mission. Daito provided the qualifying part Risk Management - 'Aggression Management & Violence Control'. The training was given at the Jachtslot Mookerheide, the Netherlands.

Daito Head Instructor Mr. K. Gopal just traveled to Nepal. He is there for the training of special units of the army and police forces and security personnel.
