Maritime Security
 Daito was reeds in 1999 al betrokken bij de beveiliging van de internationale scheepvaart, voornamelijk gericht op de bescherming van schepen tegen de internationale piraterij. Inmiddels heeft het fenomeen van piraterij een zeer onbeheersbare omvang gekregen en zijn de risico’s voor allen die bij een dergelijke scheepvaart zijn betrokken enorm toegenomen. Steeds meer reders en scheepseigenaren doen dan ook een beroep op professionele maritieme protection officers.
DAITO verzorgt en verricht in samenwerking met onze partners van “The Group NLD” de beveiliging en inzet van maritieme protection officers. Omdat wij tevens voorzien in het security beleid van deze organisatie kunnen wij gebruikmaken van haar expertise en mankracht. ■ Maritieme Zoekingen
Op verzoek van de betrokken eigenaren en redeijen verricht DAITO preventieve zoekingen op haar schepen. Deze zoekingen zijn voornamelijk gericht op de aanwezigheid van smokkelwaar, zoals drugs, sigaretten en/of alcohol of de aanwezigheid van illegale immigranten. Deze zoekingen worden voornamelijk verricht vanuit het oogpunt van kwaliteitscontrole en verzekeringseisen, en levert een belangrijke preventieve bijdrage. Dergelijke zoekingen worden door ons voornamelijk in Nederlandse havens uitgevoerd.
At request of the owners of shipping companies Daito provide preventive raids and searches on ships to the presence of contraband, such as drugs, cigarettes and alcohol, or the presence of illegal immigrants. These searches can be performed as part of the quality or conditions of insurance and carry primarily prevention in nature. For now, we perform this service only in Dutch ports. |
